With friends like these, who needs enemies? Take a musical trip through John McCain’s world.

30 Oct 08 FUX Business News Slams McCain

In an amazing turnabout for a FUX newsperson, Neil Cavuto takes John McCain to the woodshed. He describes McCain’s economic policies as inconsistent and confusing. To wrap things up, Cavuto says there’s no straight talk on economics from the straight talk express.

27 Oct 08 Litany of Lies - Meet The Press Edition

John McCain just can’t stop telling lies, no matter how hard he tries. He lies about Bush and he lies about Iraq. Here’s the simple truth, in living color.

26 Oct 08 McCain Still Loves Palin

You ask why? Simple:

Her husband is a, uh, works the third shift on oil facilities on the North Slope.

25 Oct 08 McCain Lacks Volunteers

Despite denials from the McCain campaign staff, they’ve had to hire temporary workers in Florida to do the precinct work usually done by volunteers. And they really don’t want anyone to know that they’re doing it, see for yourself lol.

24 Oct 08 McCain Pwned

When the McCain campaign began publicising allegations that one of their campaign workers had been robbed and mutilated by a pro-Obama mugger yesterday, several elements of the story just seemed wrong. In the first place, someone desperate enough to attack an ATM-user in public isn’t likely to hang around for any extras. Take the money and run is the usual MO, for good reason.

Then there was that backwards “B” on her cheek. Either we were to believe that she ran into a dyslexic thief who cared more about politics than getting away, or the story was a fake. Now we know the truth, the “B” was backwards because the confused girl who attempted to perpetrate the hoax wrote it herself.

It’s unbelievable that anyone associated with the McCain team participated in the fabrication of the lie. However his campaign staff showed the same impetuous disregard for fact-checking that McCain demonstrated in selecting Sarah Palin as a running mate. And once again, John McCain is pwned.

23 Oct 08 Al-Qaeda Likes McCain

Yes indeed, al-Qaeda knows a good thing when they see it. Bush’s war in Iraq has given them an army of new recruits, and they know that John McCain will keep our troops there and give them plenty more. And then there’s the financial cost of the war, which is enormous.

Al-Qaeda prefers an indefinite U.S. occupation of Iraq and a bellicose U.S. all across the Muslim world in order to radicalize Muslims to its terrorist cause and drain the U.S. of its financial wealth — what Osama bin Laden calls his “bleed to bankruptcy” strategy.

21 Oct 08 McCain’s Black Relatives Support Obama

Over the years McCain has done little to help improve race relations in America. He opposed removing the Confederate battle flag from the South Carolina state flag. He opposed the Martin Luther King holiday. He supported the openly racist former governor of Arizona, Evan Mecham.

You’d never guess that John McCain is directly related to black descendants of the former slaves of his family’s plantation. In point of fact, John McCain has numerous mixed-race relatives. His brother attends the family reunions in Carroll County, Mississippi, but John not only refuses to attend, he refuses to acknowledge that these relatives even exist.

“I am absolutely supporting Obama, and it’s not because he’s black. It’s because he is the best person at this time in our history,” said Lillie McCain, a professor of psychology at Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan.

“After hearing [McCain] in 2000 claim his family never owned slaves, I sent him an email,” she recalled. “I told him no matter how much he denies it, it will not make it untrue, and he should accept this and embrace it.”

16 Oct 08 McCain Is Just Creepy

The most talked about aspect of last night’s debate turns out to be John McCain’s facial expressions. It was easy to see some of the smirking and grimacing last night during the debate, but after looking closely at the videos there’s a whole lot more. Worst of all is the tongue action, it’s beyond weird and can only be called just plain creepy. This image was taken just as the debate ended.

And standing beside his wife??? You just can’t make this stuff up.

Ewwwww, just ewwwwww.

12 Oct 08 Merchant of Fear

Barring an act of god, John McCain has lost the election. The only question now is what will be left of his reputation afterwards. If he continues in his current fear and loathing mode, he’ll be remembered as a modern-day George Wallace, the polarizing segregationist of the 1960’s.

Reuters link:

Democratic congressman John Lewis, a veteran civil rights leader, accused Republican John McCain and his running mate Sarah Palin on Saturday of “sowing the seeds of hatred and division” and said it reminded him of the segregationist era of Alabama Gov. George Wallace.

Friday McCaine made a lukewarm attempt to be conciliatory towards Obama, and was booed by the crowd at his rally for doing so. To us it seems like far too little and too late, judge for yourself.

09 Oct 08 McCain’s Uncontrollable Rage

Could we trust John McCain with the nuclear trigger? His friends say no.

09 Oct 08 McCain Goes Down

McCain has taken his campaign deeper into the muck at a time when people need to hear how he might fix the economy. His message to the American people is clear: McCain doesn’t want to help you, he only wants to scare you. All of his big lies, especially about running a “Straight Talk Express”, are exposed in this video:

But what John McCain has done is worse than telling a few lies. He and Palin are doing everything they can to make uninformed Americans deeply afraid of Obama. Over and over they have attempted to portray a United States Senator as an Arab, a Moslem, and a Terrorist. This is unconscionable: now is the time for all who know better to speak out.

It is a sorry fact of American political life that campaigns get ugly, often in their final weeks. But Senator John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin have been running one of the most appalling campaigns we can remember. They have gone far beyond the usual fare of quotes taken out of context and distortions of an opponent’s record — into the dark territory of race-baiting and xenophobia.

06 Oct 08 McCain Will Make Cheney Look Like Ghandi

Whatever you might want to call McCain, one thing is certain: he’s not a man of peace. With the world in turmoil in Afghanistan, Georgia, Iraq and Iran, the only thing Johnny Maverick knows how to do is pull the trigger. And with no significant notice to the American people, new military policies formulated under Georgie Porgie’s watch make it likely that it will be a nuclear trigger. Here’s the whole ugly truth about the next Republican war.

06 Oct 08 McCain Has No Heart

Ann and Nancy Wilson, the founders of Heart, are mad at McCain. Not just a little bit mad, they’re intensely bitch-slapping pissed off mad. They never gave him permission to use their song “Barracuda” to pimp Sarah Palin. When they asked his campaign publicly to stop using the song, he said noooooo we paid license fees. So now all the license fees paid for that song are going straight to Obama’s campaign fund. Yup Mr. Maverick, every time you play it you’re paying for another Obama TV ad.

Full Text:

Dear John McCain,

When we first learned your campaign was using our admittedly awesome 1977 classic “Barracuda” to introduce your terrifying joke of a running mate, we tried to be civil. As we wrote in our press release, “The Republican campaign did not ask for permission, nor would they have been granted that permission. We have asked the Republican campaign publicly not to use our music.”

Unfortunately, you continue to blast “Barracuda” in defiance of our wishes. God knows why we thought you’d listen to us, two strong, creative women. I guess we’re all just “trollop-faced cunts” to you. (Speaking of Cindy, who can blame her for hitting the pills? We’d need a demerol epidural to live through five minutes of her conjugal duties. You sloshing your saggy ass between her legs and chomping at her breasts with your little yellow teeth. We’d rather rim Meat Loaf. Seriously.)

Use work by your own party’s goddamn members, like Chuck Norris’s motivational tapes, or Mel Gibson’s audio book of “Mein Kampf”, or Bill Engvall’s Grammy-winning comedy CD “Can’t Keep My Wang Out o’ the Goat!” Just leave us the fuck out of it.

In the meantime, we’ll be donating 100 percent of the licensing fees from “Barracuda” to Barack Obama. Seriously.

Up yours,

Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart

05 Oct 08 A True Maverick

I finally understand why John McCain likes to use the word maverick to describe himself. He loves to gamble! Yup, old Johnny boy can roll the dice and turn the cards with the best of them, just like Bret Maverick.

New York Times link:
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/28/us/politics/28gambling-web.html

A lifelong gambler, Mr. McCain takes risks, both on and off the craps table. He was throwing dice that night not long after his failed 2000 presidential bid, in which he was skewered by the Republican Party’s evangelical base, opponents of gambling. Mr. McCain was betting at a casino he oversaw as a member of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee, and he was doing so with the lobbyist who represents that casino, according to three associates of Mr. McCain.

03 Oct 08 McCain Quits Michigan

McCain is acknowledging that he has lost the election in Michigan, a key battleground state. Nothing he could say or do will fool the people there, and he’s giving up the game. We’ve all heard the lies before, and they just don’t work any more. Enquiring minds want to know which state he’ll quit next.

Detroit News link:
http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20081002/POLITICS01/810020462

John McCain is ending his attempt to win Michigan, a serious blow to the Republican’s presidential hopes. “The operations will be scaled back but we’ll still be in place in Michigan,” Mike DuHaime, political director the McCain-Palin national campaign confirmed in a conference call with national reporters late Thursday. He said staff assigned to Michigan will be shifted to Maine, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania which show greater promise for McCain.

DuHaime said the McCain camp has no plans to do any further TV advertising in Michigan, but added: “We are monitoring the state and if it swings back in our favor we will be reengaged.” Chuck Yob, a co-chair of Michigan’s campaign, disagreed with the decision to toss in the Michigan towel. “I don’t think it’s a very good decision. I think they’re wrong,” said Yob, a longtime Republican activist in West Michigan.
